FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How do we check in?

    Prior to your arrival, you will receive an email with detailed driving directions along with the key code for the door. Please print these instructions when you receive them. Some cellular services do not work well in our area and you may not be able to access it from your phone. There is NOT a central check-in office with staff standing by.

  • When will my credit card be billed?

    A non-refundable deposit of $50 per rental night will be processed on all reservations requested right away, and applied towards the total balance. The balance will be processed two weeks prior to arrival. Reservations made 10 days or less before your arrival must be paid in full at time of reservation.

  • Do you accept cash payments?

    No, a credit card is required to make a reservation.

  • What time is check-in?

    Check in is after 3:00 P.M. Monday-Saturday, and after 4:00 P.M. on Sundays for all cabins.

  • Can we check in early?

    We cannot allow early check in. Our cleaning staff will need ample time to prepare your cabin for your stay.



  • Can we have a late check out?

    Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Check out time is before 11:00 A.M. and must be strictly adhered to. Additional fees may apply.



  • Will daily housekeeping services be provided?

    No, we do not provide daily housekeeping services. Each cabin will be stocked with starter supplies. Re-stocking may be applicable for extended stays. This will be coordinated ahead of time. Please see cabin rental policies regarding cleanliness and damages.



  • Is smoking permitted?

    All cabins are non-smoking cabins. Smokers are asked to use outside ashtrays and proper receptacles. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground. An additional charge of $200 may be processed on your credit card for additional grounds cleaning. If the cabin smells of smoke, or there is any evidence of smoking inside the cabin, an additional cleaning fee of $200 per rental night will be processed on your credit card.



  • Where are your cabins located?

    Our cabins are located in Hochatown, Oklahoma, just off HWY 259N. Hochatown is an unincorporated community 12 miles north of Broken Bow, OK. Our cabins are only minutes away from Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, Cedar Creek Golf Course, the Ouachita National Forest, the Mountain Fork River, and several Hochatown restaurants.



  • Can I put the cabin address in my GPS?

    No. We are currently undergoing a 911 mapping address but it is not available yet. PRINT your detailed driving directions before you leave home. Your cellular service may not work in our area.

  • What is the driving distance to Broken Bow?
    • Dallas, TX 198 miles (about 3 hrs)
    • Tyler, TX 151 miles (about 3 hrs)
    • Longview, TX 138 miles (about 2.5 hrs)
    • Shreveport, LA 156 miles (about 3 hrs)
    • OKC, OK 255 miles (about 4 hrs)
    • Tulsa, OK 215 miles (about 3.5 hrs)
  • What do we need to bring?

    Our cabins are fully furnished. The only thing you need to bring is personal hygiene items, clothes, and food. We will provide fully furnished kitchens, grills, towels and linens.

  • Are pets allowed?

    Please be sure to bathe, brush, and treat for fleas before coming to the cabin. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or bedding. We also request that you crate your pets while you are away from the cabin. See Pet Policies for more information.

  • Where can we buy groceries and supplies?

    Pruett’s Grocery in Broken Bow, Wal-Mart in Broken Bow, or the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Idabel. There are also several convenience stores located in the Hochatown area.

  • Are there any restaurants in the area?

    Yes. There are several restaurants in the immediate area and several more within minutes of the area. See Things to Do for more information.



  • What activities might we enjoy while staying with you?

    There is something for everyone in the Broken Bow Lake/Beavers Bend State Park area! We have bass fishing, trout fishing, hunting, Cedar Creek Golf Course, river rafting/floating, boat and jet ski rentals, paddleboats, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, bumper boats, go carts, mini golf, horseback riding, hiking, biking, scuba diving, wine making, museums, wildlife watching and so much more!!

  • Are there designated ATV trails in the area?

    Yes. You MUST have a land access permit to ride on any of the Three Rivers Trails (Weyerhaeuser lands). Permits may be purchased at WalMart, Brutons Outdoors in Broken Bow, or at many of the local convenience stores. Be sure to obtain and understand the rules and regulations before riding the trails. NO ATVS ALLOWED on any of the cabin properties.

  • What about wildlife?

    Due to the location of our cabins in forested areas, there is a chance guests will encounter some type of wildlife, insects, or stray animals. Each property is professionally treated on a scheduled basis for interior pests, but due to the natural habitation of the forest, no refunds or compensation will be given for any problems resulting from pests inside or outside the cabin. Do not feed animals you may see around the cabin nor permit them to enter the cabin. Do not allow children to play with, pet, or feed stray animals. We are not responsible for any wildlife or animal encounters of any kind. Luxury Broken Bow Cabins is not responsible for medical bills resulting from injuries resulting from encounters with wildlife or stray animals.
